  Too sweet! Ordered delivery. Food came quickly and warm. The reason I am only giving 2 stars is that our orders of Sesame Chicken and Crispy Seafood were sweet. Not just a little sweet but ultra, sickeningly sweet. The spicy brown sauce was not "spicy" (I was told on the phone it would be spicy.) In fact there was not much flavor at all other than the cloying sweetness. The large shrimp and small scallops were good, but I had to take off the breading and the sauce in order to eat them. I really felt like I was eating corn syrup. The sesame chicken was also devoid of much flavor. Just sweet. If Chong Chin would add some fresh Asian flavors and lay off the sweetness it would be good.

  I've been eating Chong Chin for more than ten years. They do it right. They are what great "Chinese food" in the US is supposed to be: delicious, reliable, and the best value for a dollar as a takeout option. They are no-nonsense (in a good way) and take great pride in their food and their restaurant. At this point, Chong Chin could be rightly called a staple of the Harrisburg food scene. They've been here longer than most of the residents in this town.

  Our family's favorite Chinese restaurant. We do take out monthly and hubby and I do a sit down meal in the restaurant whenever we can. Excellent hot tea
